    Hi

I currently run iTunes on my dinosaur PC and i set both mine and my wife's itouches up on that. All the music and video files are on an external hdd.

I'm picking up a netbook later today and was wondering if I set up iTunes on it can I hook up the iPods without any difficulty or are they locked to the pc?

Probably a stupid question, but thought I'd check!

    Thanks in advance.

You need to copy the complete iTunes folder (usually in My Documents > Music > iTunes) as that has all your settings, playlists, ratings etc. Not sure of exact location as im 100% mac user

If your music is saved on an external drive you might have to relink to that custom location after you copy the iTunes folder to new pc. In iTunes preferences select music location
