Which O2 modem

I'm getting a new deal with o2 in order to get 15gb a month and along with it I'm getting a new modem. I have narrow my choice down to two. Compass/Sierra 302 and o2's wirless router the Option Globesurfer III.

A lot of the features of the wireless router have no use to me, such as having more then one user connected at anyone time, but also the more mobile aspects of the 302 are of no use to be either.

I know the max upload and download speeds are the same but does one of them have a more reliable connection then the other.

Also a big part of my decision could be, which is better to connect to a PS3. For instance on Fifa I have problems accepting game invites sometimes, and I know that's because of not having certain ports open, could getting the wireless router solve this problem.

This will not solve the problem. Unfortunately if this is going to be your main use for either of the modems I would stay away from both as it will just lead to frustration for you down the line.

Ok thanks, it's not my main use so it's not too much of a worry, I have heard the wireless router has been getting good feedback, so I'm going for that.
