Call of duty 4 modern warfare is better than both the world at war and call of duty modern warfare 2 for a number of reasons.

The simplicity of the game, think about it only 3 kill streaks, better guns namely the mp5 and the maps were better. In my opionion they over-complicated the new one, a few new additions were welcome such as bling and silenced snipers but the kill streaks annoy me it makes the game over-chaotic ruining the game play.

I thought it was better at the start of COD MW2 but the only reason was the dedicated servers.. the maps where good on COD4 but thats only cos I knew them better.. the more i play CODMW2 the better it gets... If they had Dedicated servers it would be great. ( Much bigger games )

i agree i think cod4 is a better game than mw2, mw2 is just all over the place and way too chaotic

Actually I have to agree. I am new to multiplayer and I must say that have been playing MW2 for a while now, I enjoy it most of the times is a nice game to play but a few days ago I decided to try COD4 MW1 and tbh I found myself enjoying the game much more than in MW2, first I felt I was a better player and second I didnt feel so fustrated. Still playing MW2 though but when I get tired or too frustrated I move to MW1, is just a better experience 2 me!

totally agree, COD4 is hands down a better game, not saying i don't like MW2 but prefer COD4

people need to move on and stop livin in the past. every week its something. i don't want any of mw1maps in mw2 i don't want any of their guns either. i live wit what mw2 has to offer and really enjoy it. time to move on people.

Hate to break it to you but in MW2 you are playing with plenty of the guns from COD4.

I never played MW1 on line before but after prestiging 4 times in MW2 i really began to hate the game an i have stopped playing it since but the other day i though i would throw in MW1 and holy **** its a better game all together bullets actually kill people, not every wall can be shot through, noob tubes are few and far between, perk setup is better (but limited) camping is none existent due to the uav kill streak (nobody in MW2 has uav anymore because its so easy to get a 7 kill streak).

Yeah the graphics are **** and the movent is slower but for some reason it plays better also the maps are fantastic imo some level must have 10 buildings you can enter (with multiple rooms) as opposed to Mw2 which might have 3 buildings per map!

Also my skills are backward compatible, i top the board 90% off the time but i think that is due to MW2 being a faster game!!!

Only draw back is grenade spamming in MW1 holy **** they come in from all angles!!!!

i feel the grenades have been given less power in MW2 which is a pain in the balls, i am no grenade spammer but i do love a good grenade kill

I have COD MW1 (loaned to a friend) but I never played it online but I must get it back and try it out.

I agree with some points here and it follows on from something I said elsewhere....the straight on shootouts are good but these helicopters etc ruin the game in my opinion.

A few maps with interiors only and no sh!t flying overhead would give options for some straight FPS play.

I'm enjoying MW2 very much but all this talk of going back to COD4 has me intrigued. When I think of cod4 now it seems kind of boring but I may whip it out one of the days and have another lash at it.
