Wedding in Irish

Right, so herself has moseyed on with planning her wedding, with myself making the guest appearance on the day. The only thing I really insisted upon was having the wedding in the Irish. It didn't take too much insisting but anyway we got the priest no problem so now we're looking for ideas to make it a great Irish day. Specifically, tunes and instruments and suggestions for singers. What sort of really poignant songs would be good for the church and the arrival at the reception? If there are any Ó Cearbhalláin tunes that might to appropriate that would be ever better.

All the invites will be in the Irish as will the table and mass stuff. I don't know who I'll get to do them yet, but I'm sure that won't be much of a problem.

We were both at a particularly sad funeral recently where the family of the young kid who died had a lone flute player playing an amazingly haunting tune among about 1000 people at the graveside on a wet wintry afternoon. It was at that uniquely moving moment that we knew we would have to have some traditional music.
