How would you feel and what would you do if your girlfriend told you that she doesnt love you as much as she did her ex boyfriends her reason being that she used to be crazy in love and got hurt so she says she doesnt feel the same with me :(

I'm sure your very upset, I'm so sorry this has happened to you, it must have been horrible to hear... Love is one difficult and crazy thing to try and navigate.. My b/f early on in our relationship told me once he wasnt sure about us, and that he didnt know if he could ever get over what his ex had done.. after I cried a little bit, smoked quite a lot, and calmed down enough to think rationally, I realised I already loved him more than I could ever express, and I knew what we had was worth fighting for.. so I told him that I would believe in 'us' enough for both of us, until he did too...

Well, its five years later and we're engaged, and so happy and in love its a little bit sickening :D ... heres what you need to decide completely for yourself, no input from her at the moment... how do you feel about her? would it be worth waiting until she can see what a great guy you are, a guy who wont hurt her, a guy she can trust? ;)

I think alot of women feel this way but are not honest enough to admit it!! I think its not just a girl thing, I think it happens to guys too. I think she does LOVE you. The difference between now and before is that she has realised not to be OBSESSIVE about someone. Thats the only difference I think. In previous relationships (based on my experience) I think that she gave her heart away and jumped in full force thinking she had met her prince in shining armor. It didnt work out the fairy tale ending (that girls are told about growing up) and went ****.

Now she is just being more realistic and prob taking things slow. To be honest, unless your lucky enough to stick with your 1st love forever, I think everybody has this feeling that your girlfriend has expressed. Unfortunately I would be one of a few (like her) that would admit such things. Its nothing to worry about, if anything she knows more about what she wants from a relationship then ever before. Unless she was really treating you like crap, and if this is the only negative thing she has mentioned, i would take it with a pinch of salt.

I'd feel happy that I wasn't going to be wasting my time.
What I would do is tell her to get back together with the ex(es) and consider myself single.

Maybe she loves you but is not in love with you.

It strikes me that she is a bit too honest for her own good. From my own experience, I think in the first few relationships people tend to be obsessive about their Oh. And as you get older its a more realistic love if you get me.
I think her choice of words were very poor though.
If I were you Id ask her what the story with the ex is, because theres no point in you two continuing a relationship if something like that is gonna be always on your mind.
