I know it is possible and that it is dirt cheap, compared to the rest of europe.

Apart from that, google it up

Czech out (sorry :)) page 2 of the wintersports FAQ. I have a couple of links in there.

If you want good snow and good instructors, go for rokytnice (rocket nitza) nad jazireu. It's got some nice long beautiful tree lined runs, and the view at the top is above the clouds and it's amazing. Quiet at night though.

Spindleruv mlyn is decent too, and the main resort. Good at night, and some great jumps, but a little pricier. Also found the runs a little icier than rokytnice.

For beginners rokytnice is the spot I'd recommend. Accomodation is mostly pensions, and a ski bus, which takes 10 minutes from the town is free and runs every 15 minutes or so.

As for travel, we rented a car. I know the bus only takes 2/3 hours from Prague, but that's all I know. If you do go by car bring an iPhone or print out the route as the roads get a little mazey!

Anything else I can help with, just ask.
