I have a cd of professional photos taken at my wedding and would like to make a decent quality digital photobook or coffee table book. All photos in jpeg. Any suggestions as to companies that do this. Cost is second to quality of the product so although it's a factor I'd like to hear all/any suggestions. Also would it be worth it getting someone to design the layout for me? This is my wedding album after all.

On an aside I did see the following but it's for professional photographers only but I did like them.

Couture Book albums are top-class and you can get them to create your album. They are fairly pricey, but totally unique.

the nicest albums I've found are all for professionals only. Most of the cheaper sites like blurb or lulu are pretty poor quality compared to the likes of Asukabook which is the album company i normally use

    these guys:

also make brilliant quality products but with all the good companies you have to have some design skill in photoshop/illustrator to get a professional looking album

have you asked your photographer if they'd send an album design of yours off to one of these kinds of printers. I know if i had a client who had done all the design work on the album, i'd be happy to help out in this way

Our photographer only does the traditional album and not the photobook idea. I asked him by both phone call and email about doing a photobook but as yet I haven't heard anything from him. Since he and the videographer were paid they just seem to have gone off reservation. I'm tired of being frustrated with this and would now like to do this myself rather than give him more money because he's ignoring me has been less than professional. I will hopefully get our traditional album from him soon.

edit - just to say we got our cd of photos early (I requested them) and he's photoshopping out stuff out of the photos at the moment I assume. He's also doing some photoshop design for the traditional style album but I did book him originally as he had promised that I would have editorial control over the pages but I'd do so in his office. I'm just going to do everything I can myself and see how I get on. If I find something that's decent quality I'll post back here.
