Co-OP Question

    Hey everyone,
I know there is probably a million and one threads about Co-Op but I thought that posting there would result in my question being swallowed up as the thread is quite large. My question is simple - Does your Co-Op job have to be necessarily related to your chosen program of study?

Many students may have encountered the misfortune of gaining no job due to the current economic climate but can individuals who have not found a suitable job apply to anything - within reason like working for charity or something inside a retail store. Many of my friends are worrying about the possibility of getting nothing for Co-Op once the time comes.
