just a quick question for someone who might know

is there a regulatory requirement for broadcasters to notify that a programme contains flashing images in Ireland?

Not that I know of but RTÉ generally have a continuity announcer inform viewers of flashing images.

There should be a warning that:
'Kids with Cameras have been involved in making of this film and it includes wild jumping of the zoom and the focus buttons, as well as wild swinging of the camera and is likely to make the viewer seasick We apologise for the attrocious production values exhibited but it is all we can afford.'

This would apply particularly to TV3, and some production companies.

Thats nearly every Irish production regardless of Channel. :(

    They would save time with,

"Don't worry we didn't make this ourselves"

But that would apply to all the Irish made programmes broadcast by TV3. The programmes they make themselves are so poor in production values, they should be ashamed of themselves. They are appalling.
