Certainly not, certainly not. Try and find one you like the look of and give it a go. If you enjoy it and practice a lot you can make some great improvements in fitness and stuff.

Almost all martial arts club will welcome adults of any age with open arms (except obviously the ones designed for kids).

No way is it too late - people of all ages and abilities start in clubs. Maybe try to find a club that has a senior class though - you shouldn't be mixed in with kids.
Look up some MA clubs in your area, read up on the internet and contact them so you can go along and watch.
Remember, a martial art is for life, not just for xmas.... :D

never too old, i started 3 years ago and love every minute of it(kenpo) i'm 42 this year and never felt better. i was a bit nervous when i started thinking i would keel over but just go at your own pace and check out a few clubs to find the one for you.

Its not too late, I have people in their twenties, thrirties and forties who started within the last year. Just be aware that it will take time to improve so don't get discouraged.

I'm 37 and I'm staring my second Krav Maga course (8 weeks) this week. I really enjoyed the first weekend one, including the sore muscles.

I'm optimistic that I'll progress well and I like the progression path available. I'll keep you posted.
