    on a .ie whois what does this mean

    renewal: 22-December-2009


    that they should have renewned it or did renew it in 09?

    It means it's due for renewal on that date afaik.

    It's due for renwal then. However how the IEDR invoice your reseller might mean that while you have paid your reseller for a renewal, it might not show up in WHOIS for a few weeks. Contact your reseller if you're still concerned!

    The IEDR's billing cycles combined with the different ways the various companies handle renewals makes it all quite confusing :)

    As long as the domain is not marked as "suspended" in WHOIS then it's fine ie. it's not flagged for deletion
