I am a mature student doing a course in Web Design and I need to do 4 weeks work experience at the end of it (around July) Would Web Design companies be hard to get a place in for work experience in this current climate??

Well I'm assuming you're going to work for free, right?

yeah I have looked there already and emailed a few companies. Just interested to know how the land lies in this industry nowadays and what my chances are of getting a place in one of them

Don't forget to try digital marketing agencies as well:

    Cybercom
    Bluecube Interactive
    CKSK
    RMG Target

    etc

Really good experience if you can get it
