The new pair of Wharfedale Diamond 9.1s arrived yesterday, so I'm having a go at putting them up at the weekend - I'm proposing to wall mount them with these http://www.clearly-av.co.uk/ELW6605-BK.html, given that they're quite heavy. The room they're going into is the kitchen which measures 4.2m x 4.2m x 3.6 high (even though the ceiling starts to slope at 2.4m)

Question is, what would be the optimum mounting height, or does it matter given the tilt and turn capabilities of the bracket.

    Thanks for any advice forthcoming

Ideally you would have the tweeters at ear height.... but obviously that's not always possible when wall mounting. A few pea-sized blobs of Blu-Tacbetween the speaker and the mount will help dampen vibrations. As they're front ported you won't have to worry about proximity to the wall or bass boom.
