Waiting times for Finglas & Raheny

Hey just wondering if anyone has an idea of the current waiting times for driving tests in either Finglas or Raheny? I'm getting back into taking lessons (had some last year & some practice) but would like to have an idea when I could sit the test coz I just want my first attempt (pass or fail) over with at this point! Plus my permit is up in June so would love to have attempted by then.

Hi I applied for Raheny at the beginning of December and I just got a message today to say my test is on 3rd of February!!!

Ooh might be almost time for me to apply. I can't sit it until after April 6th (1st learner permit, well not really, but a 20 year gap since the second one).

Thanks for the info. I'd like to sit my test in late March or late April if poss so thinking I should apply now. Is it true that you can block out days that you're not available when you go in to book it?

Hi witchgirl, yes towards the end of the application ( the online one ) there is an area you click for unavailability. Here you have the option to click days, dates or periods that you are unable to do a test. Here you will also find a section to click if you want to be put on a cancellation list which means you could get a much shorter notice for your test instead of the usual month notice. Good Luck:)

Thanks for that. Applied online the other day & just waiting to hear back now. Went for Finglas on the advice of my sis who sat it in both.

I applied for Raheny on 24 Nov. Notified on 06 Jan for a 11 Feb test. Best of luck!
