    Hi,

This may be a stupid question+mightn't even be in the right forum but anyway.

Is there something available where it allows you to seperate the different instruments in a song? As in,could you mute every instrument and be just listening to one?

I'm learning songs for the guitar but find some guitar parts are hard to figure out as there can be a few guitars+other intstruments in the song too!

    Thanks

Might have better luck asking in the music production section.

This isn't exactly what you're looking for but if you download tux guitar for free ( http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/ ) you can use it to open guitarpro and powertab files like this ( <snip> ).

In that file you will be able to raise or lower the volume of the various instruments, mute them or set them to solo if you want as well as slowing the tempo of the song down. Should be perfect for your needs.
