getting unused tax credits back from taxpaid

    i believe its possible..

    i worked in ireland until september this year and want to reclaim the tax credits im due for oct nov and dec from the tax i paid in the rest of the year..

    is this how it works and can i do it online?

    I assume from your post you are now abroad?

    It's possible indeed. You can complete a Form P50, which is available to download from www.revenue.ie , and return to youe local tax office.

    You may be able to apply for a review (P21 Balancing Statement)of your tax affairs online, but you would need to first register to use the PAYE Anytime site ( through revenue.ie again)
