Siemens Washing Machine Problem

Hi, my Siemens Avantgarde washing machine isn't working properly lately. On a 30 or 40 degree wash, it keeps on stopping for no apparent reason - usually every couple of minutes but sometimes more frequently. Pressing the start button each time keeps it going through it's cycle and it eventually finishes but I have better things to be doing! It runs fine on a 60 or 90 degree wash so I assume there isn't a mechanical fault with it. Anyone got any ideas?? Thanks!

are you certain it works ok on 60 and 90? if so it is more then likely a pcb fault.is it under warranty?

Thanks for your reply...yep it works as normal on those temperatures, the problem is only on 30 and 40 on either the normal wash or "easy care" option. It's nearly 7 years old now so not under warranty. Do you reckon it's easily repairable and how much, or should I be thinking of replacing it altogether?

i do contract work for Siemens.you will defo have to pay a call out of 80 euro.Thats the average price for any engineer.if it is the pcb which it sounds like it is, could be another 100.but if you can get me the full model number i can check it out for you tomorrow, might be able to do something for you.pm me if you want
