Sully can we have a random chat thread for WIT stickied at the top, there are too many threads about things happening in WIT that burn out in a few posts. Can ya hook us up. It would be handy for people to pop in and post stuff. Gwan boost the forum a bit.

Im doing a repeat project from second semester and need the lecturer's name for the title page, actually would it make a difference if i left his name out?

Any tips for what first year students should be doing to get started? To get settled in quicker etc?

Join clubs and societies tbh, and get a study/work habit going early on.

Even if you're not one to make every lecture, try to get to as many as you can in the first two weeks or so. This is when everyone else is in the "I'm new here and am goingto introduce myself to everyone else" phase, so if you miss that, it's harder to get to know people.

For getting started? STUDY! You'll get used to it though, don't worry!

And to get settled in, just socialise with everyone! It couldn't be easier.

How does everyone get to college here by the way? I've been taking the bus/getting lifts for three years now, and I'm on to my fourth!
