Dell will not turn on

    I hope this is the right place to post this but my Dell pc will not boot up when I try turn it on the light on the front keeps flashing and making a funny pop sound has anyone any idea what the hell is wrong with it :confused:

    happened to me a while ago. The motherboard needed to be replaced In my case well that s what the dell technican did anyway. Could also be a problem
    with the power unit either. Maybe somebody else can offer you better advice but I'd contact Dell Support. Although that doesn't tend to be quick and easy experience....

    Thank you for your speed on this but is seen that the usb port on the front had a bent pin in it and was touching another one so I just pulled the pins apart and up it started thank you all again :D:D:D
