taxing a car without the logbook

Hi, My tax is out since 31st dec and I lost the PIN they sent me in the post to renew it. I have also managed to lose my logbook and NCT certificate. I have the NCT disc that is displayed on the windscreen there are two numbers on that, a 7 digit number with a letter at the start or a 12 digit number. Can anybody tell me…

Hi,
My tax is out since 31st dec and I lost the PIN they sent me in the post to renew it. I have also managed to lose my logbook and NCT certificate. I have the NCT disc that is displayed on the windscreen there are two numbers on that, a 7 digit number with a letter at the start or a 12 digit number. Can anybody tell me which of the 2 numbers are the certificate number (if either) and is there anywhere else I can get the chassis number apart from the logbook. Have tried ringin the tax office all morning but no answer.

Dont need the logbook taxed my car yesterday and when i asked the lady where does it say on the logbook where the chassis number is she said you dont need to fill that part in also left the part blank with the insurance details and nct details she said you dont have to fill them parts in.
