can never think of any when I go to blockbusters.

    Id say

    Hangover
    Slumdog millionaire
    Inglorious Basterds

A Serious Man was excellent even though a few people actually left during it.

    Harry Brown,
despite it feeling like an English version of Gran Torino
    was very enjoyable too.

Avatar, especially in 3D, was remarkable too.

I saw a lot of great films in the cinema last year but these were my stand out ones.

Anyone have a linky for Irish releases 2009. Having trouble remember what I saw throughout the year.

Or even a list of releases for the Uk?
