I left school when i was sixteen. After working in archaeology for the best part of two years and traveling around the world for another two i have decided that i need to go to college to gain the nessecary tools i need to have a better opportunity at starting a career. The question i have is surrounding the leaving cert. Basically, do i need one in order to go to college or uni. I wish to study either political science or journalism. Any information would be appreciated.
also, what are the requirements for a mature student's return to schooling. do they need a leaving cert???
