Crown came loose

I was just flossing now and my crown in one of my bottom molars came off. I put it back on but it's 1:30 am in the morning and I just hope it stays on all night.

My question is can I buy something in the chemist tomorrow to stick it back or should I go to the dentist?

I had this crown job done 1 year ago. I'd rather do it myself and not go to dentist as I hate getting an anaesthetic.

I think there is something you can get from a chemist but it's only a temporary fix as far as I know. I would go to the dentist to get it fixed as I would be terrified of sticking it back on myself and maybe trapping something in there that could eventually cause decay!

you won't need anaesthetic to recement a crown unless there's some decay underneath that needs to be treated first.
also, chewing gum is pretty good in emergencies like that!!
