Think this is his choice after the beating in the BJ fight or would you say the UFC asked incase he took out the rest of the LW division.
Still some interesting fights at WW for him

I'd say he's just looknig at it realistically. Yes he could beat 3 more LW's back to a title shot but would end up get another beating off BJ. Similar to Rich Franklin except Franklin got two beatings before deciding to move up.

But at WW he might beat 3 top guys and will then take a beating from GSP. So it's kinda the same really.

He is in a strange position. He cannot win the belt at either WW or LW but could arguably be no 2 in the world in both.

Nate Diaz is moving up to 170 too, he is fighting Rory Markham. Maybe Sanchez/Diaz in the next fight?

Sanchez v Diaz would be a class fight.

Sanchez looks so gaunt fighting at 155, the move back up would suit him.
I wouldn't think he'd want any more of Penn after the last fight.

He just announced on twitter that his 1st fight back at WW will be John Hathaway.
Hathaways impressed me everytime ive seen him fight but I think Sanchez has him.

Gonna be on the UFC 114 card in vegas btw(headlined by Rampage vs Evans)
