    I moved into rented house recently its my first time in palce with oil for central heating but I think i finding it very expensive is this right or is there a problem......in nov i received 300 litres the timer was set for 3 hours a day exactly 4 weeks later i had no oil.....the plumber told me this is right but i cant believe that it cost over 200 quid a month to heat a house my mother has oil n gets few months out of......week before christmas i got 228 litres this lasted approx 2.5 weeks i was burrning extra with recent cold weather.....but im seriously broke trying to keep house heaed its out a week now house is freezing and i cant afford another delivery for few weeks n if this is normal useage i dont think i want to be paying 150-250 evry month

    I know it sounds obvious , but there isnt a leak somewhere ?
    Also your tank does have a lock in it ??
