NI Argos Home Delivery Only Items

    Has anybody found a way to order Argos items that are home delivery from the north. I've been looking at buying an exercise bike from them, but its home delivery only. The price difference is massive between the Argos down south.

    Tried two weeks ago when ordering a treadmill. Rang northern branch and the guy said that they used to deliver down south but now they have to redirect u down here. Suppose argos down here were losing a fortune cos there is such a difference in price.

    at least you save €1.00 on the irish site

    I have seen threads on numerous courier companies in the north, basically you order and it gets delivered to their depot, then they deliver it to you.

    Some shops refuse to deliver to these couriers, especially items like booze, or companies with stores down here too. Not sure about argos.

    p.s. if you are looking to loose a beer gut I would sooner get a set of weights, that bike could end up an expensive new years clothes horse!
