I bought enough deodarant, toothpaste, hair gel, shampoo, shower gel etc. to last me nearly the year. Don't remember perfume \ after shave being included

Usually a pretty good sale, not much left in my local one though
The extra week delay on the 75% starting hasnt helped.
Anyone around Dublin recommend a pretty well stocked one? please... :D
Edited to add no perfumes etc included.
Its only Xmas stock reduced. Soaps, mens toiletry sets, shampoo sets, Xmas paper and cards.

Is this sale on all their stock or just Christmas products?

I think it's just the items that were in the 3 for 2 offer before Christmas, MAYBE the odd other item will be thrown in but i doubt it

So not worth going in for general toiletries then?

I was just lucky, my boyfriend dropped me in at 9 and i didn't start work till 10. In one of the 2 boots I was in (Grafton St.), the girl was putting more stuff on the shelves, so it is possible that they have more stuff in the stock room. There was no big ques or anything, it was just that of the few people that were there, they were buying a lot.

Quite happy with my booty, not as good as last year though.
Had the misfortune of picking up a Gok Wan set. (It was shiney)
The stuff smells like an amourous teenage boy who had a bath in Lynx.
    Yuck!

Just back from the Boots in Cork city and it's packed full of stuff up on the 2nd floor.
I got as much stuff ans my 2 arms could carry and it only came to €16. Got all my toiletries for the entire year I'd imagine.

    Thx Op!

Would it be worth going in tomorrow morning? Can't get to a Boots today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 986 ✭✭✭Bill-e

In the cork store which is huge the shelves were jam packed!
and at lunch time which i would have imagined was the busiest time there was only tiny queue. go for it

Went into Boots in Donnybrook after work. Nothing decent at all left. Thanks to whoever above said the Gok Wan set was awful, i probably would have bought it.;)

If you purchase your items so that each transaction adds of to €7.50 then you will get the €7.50 No7 vouchers as well. These can be used to get face wipes/nail polish/mens shower gel/ lip pencils for around €1.50 per item.

Loads still left in the Half Moon Street Branch in Cork, I'd say keep an eye out for 90% off in a couple of weeks. (hopefully!)

anybody knows of any Dublin Boots that would have anything decent left? Something like ''survival kits'' at least ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,159 ✭✭✭✭phasers

There were a few survival kits in Boots in Jervis today, one of the few things left!

Any word on whether the 90% off will be happening or not? Checked out a few UK forums and the consensus seems to be no:( Although some said that some of the Christmas items were in clearance sections for very little.
