    Hi guys

Just moving job that would increase my travelling time and distance. Looking around 1000 km a week. Please help me find a good car; will upgrade from present one.

    Diesel
total budget 12-13K (including VRT; if from UK).
    Auto or Tiptronic
    Xenons (if i could, please:D)
    Leather (not a priority)

Whats the max tax you are willing to pay and do you have a family/need for large car?

Well age wise what's the oldest year car you'd go for?

I'd love to say Alfa 159 but you'd have to stop at every second garage doing that type of mileage in one!

Why are the Xenon's so important? Xenon's as a must will seriously limit your choice of car.

Personally, I'd be looking at something like a nice 04 - 05 3 series coupe. If you're going to be spending that amount of time in the car you might as well have something a little bit special.

A friend of mine picked up a nice 06 Passat (new model) for under €10k uncl. VRT about 6 months ago. Lovely car and fairly reliable cars.

Or maybe something like a 06 Honda Accord. Very substantial car that would be a joy to drive doing that sort of mileage. Reliable motors too.
