    hi guys
theres a stretch of the M50 that in my eyes has been 99% finished the past 3 months.. barr lifting the cones and allowing us all get together 30 minutes quicker, as at present its creating a big morning time bottle neck.

the strecth in question is between tallaght and firhouse.. just wondering has anyone any idea when this or the M50 itself is due to be finsihed.. their taking the piss at this stage if you ask me :(

also on another note, anyone an idea when the sandyford luas extension will be launched??

    cheers
    :)

    THere's a thread on the m50 here
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055236395&page=66

the green luas extention hasn't mae much progress recently, there has been one lonely wire strung across the bridges over the m50 since November I'd guess.

M50 Tallaght-Sandyford or "The Day The Earth Stood Still"

Who knows when it will open at this stage-the last few updates from M50 Traffic MGT have proved to be unreliable.

It certainly looks like it could open by the end of the month-but the pace work has slowed to a trickle at this stage and the ominous issue of 'paperwork' has been trotted out once or twice.
