I bought this projector in September.

It's an Acer, and costs €320. I've found it really good. It connects with the laptop automatically, comes with a remote, and the video/image quality and brightness is excellent - depending on what classroom I'm in, I don't normally need to switch off the lights.

The only downside is that it doesn't have a zoom lens. But when I place it at the end of the desk, it projects big enough on the whiteboard, so... I'd definitely recommend this one. Great quality, not too big and heavy and excellent value. Jeez, just realised I sound like a feckin salesman!!

Best of luck with whatever you buy.
