    When handing in a CV, what should be written on the envelope?

    Well first of all your should include a cover letter. Your CV is stapled to the back of your cover letter.

    I would put something like "FAO The Manager, CV for Your Name" on the envelope.

    I would also make sure I give my CV to the manager. No point giving it to someone who could throw it in the bin.

    Another tip is if you dont know the name of the manager phone the company/business and ask them. It is more personalized if you address a cover letter and cv to a named person.
