I have 3 weeks of unexpected holidays starting today. Budget is pretty tight but I would love to spend some time travelling.

    Any ideas?!

Ideally I would like to spend the whole time snowboarding but I haven’t yet figured out a budget-friendly way to do that.

So, I am open to any ideas about other good places to spend the next few weeks ….. all sugestions welcome!

    Thanks

ok I do this all the time, Ryanair is your 1st port of call..

check all the destinations you wanna go to and the dates you want..

Andorra may be your ideal destination for snowboarding and it is ment to be good vaule cos its a tax haven.. you can fly into Girona Barcalona with ryanair.

Go to Alpharoom.com for accommodation. They are by FAR the best value for hotels, apartments etc..

Also if travelling in Spain, France, Porugal use the public transport.
Transfers from the airport to hotel can cost €40-€50 but you can be sure a local bus is parked outside the terminal building to take you to your resort for about €5-€10.

Andorra is about 2hours from girona airport.. (there is no airport in andorra) you can get a bus taking you to any of the resorts for €30 return (that was the price when I checked last).

booking your own holiday and avoiding the tour operator is wayyyy cheaper.

I have had 5star holidays on a students budget..
