Win7 and Word/PPT 2007

    Hi there
    Got a new laptop last week with Win7 Home.

    I installed MS Office 2007 pro on it and, although Outlook and Excel both work, Word and Powerpoint dont

    I just get a message that says that 'Microsoft office word has stopped working - a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available'

    When I click to close program, nothing happens?

    I read some stuff online about deleting registry files but cant find the ones I'm supposed to be deleting (and I'm worried about screwing up the shiny new laptop!)
