    Oh yes :D:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jy3TwgpOfr0

I can't imagine it being any good but I'll probably go see it anyway.

It is somewhat suprising that they don't seem to be doing karate in the trailer:confused:

He's no Kesuke Miyagi and it's not enough of a departure from the original for me.

    Still probably watch it though...

    China you say?
That's too much of a departure for me. Really should be the Kung Fu kid!

Wax on Wax off has more of a ring to it than take off your jacket, hang it up, put on your jacket.
    Thats just my opinion though.

I'll wait for this one on DVD I think....
Set in China, the storyline even says the kid takes up Kung Fu.....nothing 'Karate' about it. Hollywood ignorance and lack of research. I suppose the cast of the Power Rangers will be playing the part of the Cobra Kai...:D

Yea, he falls into a daoist cave is transported back to face the karate kid, and kicks his ass to prove once and for all that Chinese Gung Fu beats Japanese Carrotee!! suckers!! :)

Sadly, I'll probably enjoy this??? The child in the driving seat again!

If they do keep that title it will be for marketing reasons and not their ignorance or lack of research. The whole "Kung-fu is not the same as Karate" thing has already got them a lot of free internet press.

A very good point, yes. They are completly piggy backing on the original's success anyway, thats obvious. I wonder are there any cameo's? Ralph Macchio looks sooooo different now!
