Laptop / desktop for 600 max

    Hi all,

Am helping my cousin look for a laptop for E600 max. Buying it with her other half and they are on a tight budget.

She will just be using it for the internet and him just for net and games. Neither of them would be using it for publications or photoshoping or anything else.

They went looking in pc world but couldnt find anything.

Id much rather they stayed away from pc world due to my own bad experience with their service. Id rather they even went to harvey norman!!

I know enough about computers for what i use them myself, but know nothing of what is required for gaming.

Can anyone send any links to laptops or desktops that would meet the requirements? As i said E600 is the max, but if there is a laptop or desktop that would be good enough for less that would be even better as they only have a new baby and funds are tight.

They will consider buying from a reliable online store too so any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks

Well you really have to decide what you want, a laptop, or a desktop. As a 600 euro desktop will be far superior compared to a 600 euro laptop. And we need to know specifically what games, as 600 euro will not buy you a "gaming" machine laptop, where as a similarly priced desktop will just about get away with it.
