Where to holiday on Turkeys med coast??

    Looking for a resort in turkey to vist with a family.. I have read that the med coast is the tourist area but but there seems to be so many different resorts I cant choose!!!

    its a holiday for 2 adults 3 kids age 13-11-9.

    we like water parks, water sports, good food, lots of shops.
    Shows at night and an area other Irish people tend to visit.

    any ideas??

    Hey, don't know much about med coast but i have holidayed on aegean coast in particular bodrum, gumbet and bitez. To be fair i love all three. It depends what your into, bitez is quiet and beautiful, great food, water sports and great beach and very safe, it is a small resort.

    Gumbet is only five mins max away in taxi and thats much more livelier. Bigger resort, good beach, busy bar street. You will find plenty irish in both. Great nightlife in gumbet.

    Bodrum is ten mins from gumbet and is pretty large. Great place to wander around in the evening by the castle and marina, great food and nightlife.

    My favourite is bitez but i always pop into both the other places and have a great team.

    Go for it turkey is great.:)

    Kusadasi is great. Large resort, 2 waterparks, filled with bars and restaurants, popular with Irish, lots of shops, ancient ruins nearby (Ephesus). Sunworld go there. I've been there twice, highly recommend it!
