Review Request: Classic Army

Hey folks,

Thinking of buying a Classic Army Scar in the next week or so.

Just want to get some opinions before I dive in.
What the internals and overall AEG is like.

For the type of money you are spending, get a G&G SCAR, the Ares versions are worth a look too. The CA is possibly the worst AEG SCAR on the market. Internally and externally its pretty poor. A DBoys clone would wipe the floor with it.

Did you have one? Or know someone that had problems with theirs?

You see I got a voucher for Christmas for Airsofteire and would like to get a new AEG. The voucher would go a long way to purchasing it. Steve in the shop said they can order anything from ASG and that they had scars coming in this week.

I'm kinda an M4 guy but would like to try something new for size, not along the M15/M4 model.

What would you recommend, bear in mind I have an M4 and an MP5SD and a G23.

It's mainly CA AEGs in general, that I personally would steer clear of. The two CA AEGs I own, an AUG A1 and a G36K both broke after very light use. They were never even skirmished both I would say had less the 500 bb through them before they chewed up their gears.

That and the fact that CA externals have gone down hill in quality compared to what they used to be like.

Airsofteire generally can get in anything you want not just the ASG gear but that's the handiest for them to get.

If your looking for a Scar id suggest a VFC, G&G or Ares, the CA has a horrible eggshell look to it and the upper receiver is painted, unlike the others.
