Eircom Mail Settings for Itouch ???

    anybody know these ????

    i can receive email on my itouch but cant send

    so my incoming server settings are webmail.eircom.net
    and i have outgoing as mail1.eircom.net

    i tried smtp.eircom.net and no joy or webmail

    have a look in your settings and see that your SSL: setting is turned off, and the port number is 143.

    Go to settings - mail, contacts, calendar - your account - advanced.

    yes i did that and still nothing

    wheres the whizz kids when you need one

    should be a simple thing for somebody in the know
