I have been working and living in South Korea for a year now and intend on heading home soon. I was just wondering when I go to transfer my saving from Korea back to Ireland will I have to pay tax and if so how much?

Depends how long you've been away but generally this is seen as capitalised income earned before you return and as such you will not have to pay tax on it.
