    Hi all,

I lost the battery cover for my new SRC RPK... anyone know if it's possible to get a replacement part and if so, what the best route to try is? I've emailed TSD, but I'm not optimistic.

So annoyed... I even read in the reviews that this happens... and yet didn't tape it.

Great gun though... even if the spread is a little wide - but happy with the range. The hop up seems very sensitive. A quarter of the way up seems ok, but more than that has me shooting at birds.

A local retailer might be able to just order that specific part for you? I'm sure that depends on rarity etc. but worth asking.

That RPK is pretty sweet, quite a beast of a thing. Hope you're able to find the part!

if its the dust cover youre on about then an ordinary 47 one should fit, but ive no personal experience with the SRC model, so i dont know if the lenghts are the same but they should be.

    Hi Frank, Scrambles,

Thanks for that - will pursue both options... when I get home from work...

It's worse than China in here... the only Airsoft sites I can view in work are WGC and GoTactical :-( The rest of them come up categorised as "Weapons"!

i believe he is looking for a buttplate instead of a receiver cover as the battery is in the stock on the src rpk, unfrotuntaly i've yet to see a rpk buttplate for sale on its own as a replacement

Ah yes... it is the butt plate I need... I couldn't open that link earlier.

Might just have to make something myself!

yeah i was thinking of my own one, i filled the stock & rewired it for stick batteries.

As firekitten said look out for RS parts, try gunbroker or i think aa-ok.com deliver here. You could knock one together, its only a simple sheet of metal, getting the curve right would be the trickiest part.
