Hi we want to put in an electric shower in our ensuite our water pressure is fine but we live in a hard water area so we need one which is suited for that.Can anyone recommend a good make of shower for approx 300euro. Thanks

to my knowledge there is no such shower for hard water ?? your will have to put a filter between the shower and the water input. an inline carriage filter fitted in the attic so you could change the filter with eases. but this is not cheap :mad:

No shower is hard water proof without filter. My honest advice is do one of two things.

1, Fit a gravity shower, no electrics.

2. Fit an electric shower.

They will both clog up but the gravity will take years. The electric clogs very quickly.

ps I know of a lad that fit whole house filters quite reasonable. If your in dublin and surrounding and interested I can pm you his number. Let you deal direct.
