Cheating PM's

I was just wondering if anyone else got a message like this:

I'm not aware of any glitch to do this on Xbox360 and i hope its not true. Anyway, I filed a cheating complaint and a game tampering complaint. Do you think Xbox or IW will do anything about this if i forward them the PM?

I think if you report the user, IW might ban them from the game or something. Worth reporting them anyway. Serves them right. Using the glitch is cheap. Selling the glitch to other people is just downright wrong. Not to mention the fact that it could be a scam and people who are stupid enough to fall for it could be taken for a bit of money.

If it was me, I'd report it. But then again, with the amount of people cheating, it may not make any difference in the long run. Chances are you'll never come across that player again anyway, so there's almost no point

I already used the xbox reporting system. I think thats just a black hole though. Nothing seems to come of it. I will send a mail to xbox and IW and see what happens.

If anyone has some spare time, Berate this user with pms so he cant find the ones where he's exploiting people. I already sent about 20 messages to this person and im sure im probably blocked now.:D

Probably not best to use boards.ie to start a campaign against someone. We should just stick to discussing the game itself rather than vendettas against cheaters (although we all hate cheats, it's best to let MS and IW deal with them).

Ironically, if he reports you for bullying you may find yourself on the end of a Live ban!!

Sorry, I meant there's almost no point overall, because so many people are doing this type of thing and even if he did report that user and that user was banned, stuff like what he was doing will still keep happening. But I agree they should be reported anyway

Got em a few times alright. GOW2 and Halo were plagued by these same idiots. Always happens when a game gets popular, these morons pop up and try exploit people. Funny thing about it is that all 10th prestiges are being reset soon because of this hack.
Best thing to do is to just report these guys.I read on another site if 5 reports are filed on a user within an hour the report gets seen by some one in microsoft or somewhere and its taken seriously. Think they just get banned for 3 days and they loose their tag and cheev points. Check out some guys gamer cards when they score high and notice how they have no game points, this is usually because of being banned.
The thing to watch out for with a lot of these ass holes is that they try and get kids that don't know any better to sign up or say if they give their account details they'll sort them out and just rob their account. So definately report any of these guys as while they are feckin up the system they are also cheating thieving pricks.

Haven't seen a glitch like this for xbox but there is a way to get 10th prestige where they use a modded xbox to host and then invite players, but in the game you get something like 7 million xp per kill so you can rank up very quickly. The only thing is that the console will only last a coulpe of hours on live so they charge people to cover the cost of the xbox.
