cz .17 scraths on stock of gun

    the stock of my gun there is agood few scraths on are they any way i would sort it would ye have any suggestions

    CZ stocks are laquered so the best thing to do would be strip it with nitromors and refinish it with the birchwood casey kit. I did mine a few years ago and added in a White spacer at the butt pad, looks pretty good and it is easier to keep than a varnished stock.

    Mine was the lux so it is plastic with two screws, the varmint is rubber as far as I remember but the screws will still be there, look for a tiny slit in the rubber where they went in.

    Cheers, I have the Varmint, read somwhere the butt pad is a git to get off the Varmint so haven't tried ................. yet :confused:
