Anyone know who got through to the semis in the All Ireland Talent Show tonight? Know it's a pile of rubbish but managed to get sucked in this evening.

How does Shane Lynch think that Joanna Ryde is talented. Just seen the act on the show and its the WORST on the show so far in all the series.

The show is embarrassing for Ireland.
And there hasnt been any talent!

Shane's acts are sh1t but the boggers would never let Dublin win anyway so it doesnt matter.

There is one thing we can say about Shane Lynch's acts.

    either

    1. There is no talent in Dublin
    or
    2. (And more likely) Shane Lynch would not know Talent if it bit him in the face. Woops. Maybe thats why he is in a crap band.

I cringe when I see that show.
It's like X Factor on an extremely limited budget, minus the celebrity and talent factors.
    What were RTE thinking?

I cringe whenever they replay the people auditioning and crying when they get in going "this is the greatest day of my life"....zomg

    It's useless.
Pathetic talent, every corner of the country performing either Irish dancing or something else only much less talented (beatboxing, breakdancing, etc.). I prefer the Xfactor =/

It has to be the worst show ever made!! Blathnaid and John Creedon have to be the worst tv personalities! She especially is painful to watch!

I hope Simon Cowell never sees the show! I personally hate it because the judges don't care about the acts, they just want to outdo eachother. It doesn't matter if someone is really talented or not they are just picking people that they think the public will think is cute/sweet or feel sorry for. If there's a sob story involved, even better! How can these judges sit there & say their (certain) acts are amazing & fantastic & so talented when when you and I can see they are not. How can they sit there & make up ridiculous criticisms of eachothers acts just to get a one up. I may sound harsh but it's just an embarassment to me.

I think in all honesty that three of the judges do try and get the most talented acts into the live heats. The three in my Opinion are Blathnaid, John and Daithi. In my view both Dana and especially Shane Lynch would not know talent if it bit them in the face. Shane Lynch even more so than Dana. If he thinks that Joanna Ryde or what ever the act calls itself is talent well then God help us. If this is the talent that a city the size of dublin can produce, its no wonder that they have no one in the semi finals.

Perhaps people with real talent steer clear of such a shoddy cheap-jack showcase, and think that the opinions of a bunch of z-list talentless judges are worthless?

There are a few good acts but I agree the judges are a joke

I am sure that anyone with talent and is interested in the €50,000 winners prize will enter the competition regardless of who the judges are.

But they would earn considerably more after winning a proper talent show. They may win €50K, but that might well be the last time they see anything for their efforts, their career ever blighted by appearing on such a poxy show in the first place.

How many other talent shows do you see on Irish TV. TG4 has a few, dont know what the prizes are, but after that there is not many.

Why is that Blathnaid on TV?? She has to be the biggest fake on irish TV!

This show is utter scutter. Why does everything in Ireland have to be so half-assed? The contestants are either awful or doing some stereotypical Irish shite that Irish Americans would love.

There was some guy who was an alright singer but obviously the show doesn't style the contestants because he looked like he was wearing his conformation clothes. Even River Dance were bad. The lead dancers foot work wasn't even in time with the recorded taps.

    And the judges:

Flower - Was she second choice for Grainnes presenting gig and they decided to stick her in as a judge.
David O'Shea - He's a weather man. Enough said there.
Dana - When was the last time she had a song out.
Shane - Obviously he needs the money.
Joe/John - I have no idea who this guy is.

    Ugh. I won't go on!

Here's the votes from the JA jury.

Na Fianna - Thought they were nervous. okay performance. 7

Ben Escorcio - Good performance, but not great. 7

Olwyn Murray - Poor song choice, uneven delivery. Hot looking. 6

Emma & John - Good performance, but the stuff in itself is very repetitive. 7

Chloe Coyle - Amazing. She is angelic. 9

Michael Lawlor - Very very strong performance. 8

Was shocked that Michael Lawlor went out so early in the results. I thought it was going to between him and Chloe Lawlor with Lawlor just edging her out. Goes to show what I thought about talent shows maybe.

    Chloe definitely deserved it.
thank god it wasn't Na Fianna anyway.

The real star of the show however has to be

Their was a dance group from santry in it called ghetto faboulous or something or other their dance style was hip hop with some break dancing i trained in dancing for years and studied these styles and i have to admit these girls were very talented at what they do, so to say they aren't is totally unfair, The Irish public arent interested in that type of dancing and therefore dont no the skill involved in perfecting the moves they used
