I have been looking for a piece of music and it was played at about 8-9 mins into the episode on tg4 tonight. Has tg4 an iplayer so I could maybe get a link so people can hear it, or does anyone remember it. It was electronic , atmospheric.

Im trying to figure it out myself here. Its a tune on my Euphoria Chilled album. I remember hearing it when I was watching the show and thinking that tune is on my IPod. But now I can't seem to remember the song and find it on the IPod. Is it this tune? Just a guess.

Nope, not them. Maybe this was after my track, but my one is from the early 80's I woudl say. Something u would hear on a patrick more/ space or wildlife programme.

Was it original or did it sound remixed/modernized?

No, actually I just heard a section of it, but when u listen to the few seconds I hum, that is the main piece. i wouldn;'t be sure though if that piece on scannal was modernised, but it would be the original that i would be looking for. I will email rte and maybe fingers crossed someone can check the credits, or who got a royalty check from that piece.

listen to it for a bit and you will hear the 80's bit coming through.
But it doesn't really sound like the song the guy was humming on that youtube video though.
I'm going through all the songs on my Ipod at the minute trying to figure it out.

wow, I looked up leftfield here,

and they only came along in the 90's! It sounds so 80's, but I mean in a good way, like you would hear it on the sky at nigt or some science programme about space travel.

I'm trying to figure out now was it sampled from an 80's tune. It does sound very 80's. All that kind of music (Euphoric, trance, house) uses quite alot of sampling. I'm googling like crazy here to get more info on the song.
