Hi lads, I am changing the stereo that came with my car. There is a subwoofer and amp connected to the current one. I want to continue using this with the new stereo.

I am looking at stereos now ,and as regards the spec, what should I look for so I know the new stereo will be compatible with a sub? What I mean is, should the technical details state: 'Subwoofer output', 'Line in for subwooofer', or what?

    Any help greatly appreciated!

any stereo with a pre-out or sub-out will do fine.

All sony models, even entry level models have the pre amp/sub out.
    And decent sound too :)
