    Hi,

I am looking to put together a movie using quicktime clips. Windows moviemaker however does not let me use quicktime.

    Any suggestions?

Vdub is a great open source video editing program.
You can get a plugin for .mov files for it.

Also try out the trial version of Adobe Premiere Pro if you're stuck. Its super fancy (and a bit complicated mind).

You could try Windows Live Movie Maker... Not sure if it does .mov though!

Otherwise, I'd try the trail version of Sony Vegas.

Forgot you can't make a typo without someone trying to be a smartass

Or maybe your trying to highlight something about Live movie maker, which does suck for most things, isn't the best choice for the OP, but hell the OP isn't trying to re-create Avatar.

Or maybe your trying to make a point about Sony Vegas not supporting .mov by default, but a quick Google search can find out how you can. Plus it will give the OP lots of Shiney effects to use.

Or maybe you genuinely are just trying to be a smartass?

Anyway, Please pick and let us know.

    Neither.
    He's already using Movie Maker.
Windows Live Movie Maker is just the latest version which he should already have.
