    The hood will keep your face warm. If you're wearing them the right way around the wind still gets your ears or the hood falls back. Just cut two eye holes and you're sorted. Your hair is meant to keep the back of your head warm anyway.

    I've done it a couple of times, but don't feel silly for doing it. A bit angry with myself maybe, because whenever it happens I'm generally in a hurry and a bit distracted.
