    I don't get it!..

Like I get what it is, however I never get DOMS - EVER!.

    I get fatigued muscles, naturally.

The one exception is legs, but only if I have neglected them for awhile and even then its not overly painful.

    Anyone else like this here?.

I haven't DOMS in a while, usually hits me straight away the morning after. Use heavier weights perhaps? I can barely walk the day after a leg workout.

I usually get it, I think. How is it different to just having sore/strained muscles the day after?

Lol great spot for a thread.

If you want a serious question Maki, then I usually get them after high rep stuff. Pull up negatives can cause pretty sore doms, I think rubadub has said pretty much any exercise done with a lot of heavy negatives will cause doms.

    It isn't I don't think. That's what DOMS is

Lactic acid build-up makes your muscles sore during or directly after training, DOMS is just damaged tissue repairing itself afaik

My fat cousin once pulled a muscle playing the Wii. The funny part was that she couldn't even walk for the next two days!

I dont get doms easily, like not after every workout. leg work and deadlifts = guarnteed DOMS though, especially if I go to failure

I used to get DOMS after a few weeks of not working out. Supplements can make you recover quicker. Some people enjoy getting DOMS because it's a sign that they've worked out that particular muscle group well.

I'm 18, I just lift heavy so my muscles are always aching the next day. You one of them types that can barely move the morning after a gentle jog Zohan ;)

Not being a dick, but bad advice. If you keep increasing reps (say over 10) eventually you're training for endurance rather than size / strength. What you're experiencing by the sounds of it is lactic acid building up, that doesn't increase muscle growth. There's a difference between lactic acid soreness and muscle soreness.

Ha i understand, i just do it with core muscle work to be honest....keep trying to better my time on wall sits or push ups...

Im pretty sure its muscle soreness after a good weight session though as oppose to lactic acid build up,but thanks anyway man
