Using Recovery Partition

    I want to use the recovery partition to wipe my computer but I am not sure exactly what i can save if I do this. I have a few bits of software that I want to keep and my wife is worried about her iTunes. Can I select specific bits of software to save and get rid of the rest?

    Nope,you're gonna have to backup everything.
